Dr. Florence Wong

Qualifications
Dr. Florence Wong did her basic dental training in the National University of Singapore where she received several academic awards. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004, receiving the LC Lien award for best student in Orthodontics.
She then embarked on a full-time postgraduate programme, obtaining her Master of Dental Surgery from NUS and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Wong is a registered Specialist Orthodontist with the Singapore Dental Council.
Fellowships/Specialty Boards
Dr Wong is a member of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) and the World Federation of Orthodontics. She served as an executive committee member in the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) between 2010-2012, where she was in charge of organising continuing education programmes for her fellow orthodontic colleagues.
Research
Dr Wong’s research projects in orthodontic materials and 3D stereophotogrammetry, have won first prize awards at local and regional scientific competitions.
Dr Wong is currently a reviewer for the Singapore Dental Journal.
Scope of Work:
As an orthodontist, Dr Wong’s field of expertise include
• conventional braces treatment
• interceptive treatment and growth modification for growing children
• combined orthodontic-orthognathic surgery treatment for patients with jaw problems.

Dr Wong is a loving mother to 2 children and enjoys spending time with her family outside of work.
